Got questions? Here are some of the most common questions I get asked:
Q. What is the Six Week Guitar Bootcamp Video Course?
The Six Week Guitar Bootcamp is a six week video course that is designed for the beginner to follow along with. There is a lesson video at the beginning of each week and then four practice videos for a total of 5 videos for each week. It is simple, straightforward guitar instruction designed to help you learn guitar fast.
The best thing about the program is that there is no confusion or overwhelm. You’ll know right where to start, you’ll understand how to practice, and I will be there to help and encourage you as you work toward your goal of playing well in just six weeks!
Q. Are the practice videos the same video for an entire week?
No – the practice videos are all different. So, in a one week time period you will have four different practice videos for a total of 24 different practice videos over the entire six week course.
Q. Is this course designed only for beginners? What if I have played a little guitar?
Yes, this course is designed for the beginner. If you have dabbled in the guitar a little but can’t transition smoothly between basic chords OR don’t know how to strum or use a pick this course will still be beneficial for you!
Q. Is this course just for an acoustic guitar?
The course is not designed specifically around an acoustic guitar. You can use an acoustic guitar, an acoustic-electric guitar, a classical guitar, or an electric guitar. All the strings and notes are the same…so it doesn’t matter what type of guitar you learn on (as long as it has six strings).
Q. How much time do I need to dedicate to practicing in order to be successful?
I know that time is so hard to come by. If you can dedicate at least 30 minutes per day to practicing you will see some great results in a quick hurry. If you only have 20 minutes or even 10 or 15 your progress will be slower…but slower progress is still progress. You may need to take a little extra time to get through the course if your time is limited…but…I like to look at it this way: if you are further ahead today than you were yesterday then you are still going to reach your dream of playing the guitar. If you don’t get started you’ll never get there!
